Government Polytechnic Shergarh Kaithal is proud to announce the launch of a new, industry-aligned diploma program in Cyber Forensics and Information Security, commencing from the academic session 2026-27.

As digital transformation accelerates globally, the demand for skilled professionals who can protect data and investigate cybercrimes is at an all-time high. This program is designed to bridge the skill gap and prepare students for exciting, high-demand careers in the cybersecurity sector.

This three-year comprehensive diploma focuses on both the defensive and investigative aspects of digital security. Students will gain hands-on training in state-of-the-art computer labs, learning how to secure networks, identify vulnerabilities, and extract digital evidence. Key areas of studying this course includes:

• Information Security Principles: Understanding cryptography, secure system design, and risk management.

• Network & Web Security: Defending against cyber attacks, firewalls, and securing web applications.

• Digital Forensics: Techniques for recovering and analyzing data from computers, mobile devices, and networks for legal evidence.

• Ethical Hacking: Identifying system vulnerabilities before malicious hackers can exploit them.

• Cyber Law & Compliance: Understanding the legal frameworks and IT acts governing digital crimes and data privacy.
