Government Polytechnic Shergarh, is one of the most reputed colleges in Haryana for professional education in the fields of Engineering. It is  located about 2 kms from Main Bus Stand Kaithal City. The institute is duly approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and the Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana. It is affiliated to HSBTE, Panchkula since 2017.All programmes are focused on providing a domain capability to students that allows them to have a meaningful career in industry or academics. However, since the college is affiliated to HSBTE Panchkula, we strictly adhere to the curricula designed and prescribed by it.

The Institute has blossomed under the inspiring guidance of Sh. Sanjay Kumar Moudgil, the dynamic principal who is dedicated to furthering the cause of education. A man of substance, he stands tall above others – an iconic figure for today’s youth. With an aim to create a better tomorrow for the country, he conceived this institution in 2021 for providing quality and meaningful education in the fields of engineering. His marathon efforts have yielded amazing results and in a short span since inception, GP Shergarh established itself as a centre of excellence. Every year, around 220 students from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds pursue their education here, in a secure and friendly environment. The institute’s student centric academic and operational philosophy & healthy educational practices contribute towards ensuring safe entry of its students into the competitive employment market.
